Qi Gong (Robert Michael)

March 22, 2010    7:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Qigong is a practice which cultivates the personal energies through coordinated flowing movement, focused breathing and a relaxed mind.

Starting on Monday, October 6, we will be learning and working with a new Qigong set, The Five Animal Frolics.  This Qigong practice is a delightful exercise that is geared for the five seasons -- summer, winter, late summer, spring, and fall -- with the movements mimicking the crane, bear, monkey, deer, and tiger. The aim is to enhance the flow of our life energy and harmonize the five phases of change (fire, water, earth, wood, and metal). The Five Animal Qigong helps to strengthen the internal organs, nerves, muscles, and bones, and improves the health and vitality of body, mind, and spirit.
